And so it begins or should I say ends......well the first night at least.
My last view of the Marquee on the oval as I headed home at 11.45pm, tired, happy and with tunes in my head....
Hope you all have a great weekend, I know I will be,
Ciao for now.....

Julie, I had to try and capture the scene with the moon above the marquee, wasn't sure what my little camera would give me, but I'm thrilled with the pic.

Great weather in Yack today, Claire. Should be a fantastic weekend. I live "just down the hill and over the way", can't wait to come over and check out your local Op Shop!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the rest of it! We just watched a fun movie tonight called "Here Comes the Boom" and a key line was a lovely quote from Nietzsche (of all people): "Without music, life would be a mistake." It made me think of you. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous photo!
ReplyDeleteHi Claire. I was thinking of you and your work a couple of days ago - I was in a new little gallery in Albany when I saw an artwork created out of an old Albany Woollen Mills blanket. Apparently they are coveted by local artists - I'll be keeping my two blankets I brought here with me under lock and key! Glad to know you are well.
ReplyDeleteLOL.......Hey Sam, yes hold on to your blankets. I have picked up a no of NTM (new to me) blankets recently which has been great. Unfortunately, I can't go past a great woollen blanket and my stash of them is growing. Need a bit of room to store them which can be an issue........but.
DeleteWould love to know what the art pieces were....
Thanks for visiting, great to hear from you.
