Welcome to August and what a glorious day to kick it off.
As it was so lovely outside I thought I would hang these shirts on the line for some pics.
Unfortunately, the breeze was playing with them and making it rather tricky...........

I picked these cute little coat hangers up at an op shop recently, 10 for $1.50.
They would be useful for my market stall.
I love the little characters on them..........Old Mother Hubbard, Little Miss Muffet and a Jack in the Box, they are so cute, I couldn't leave them behind.
I had a very relaxed weekend here. The boys were away for a couple of days, so I just puddled along doing a bit of housework in between crafting time.
Sunday morning I decided breakfast in bed would be rather nice and I didn't feel at all guilty.......
Once I got up though, I had to put my skates on and make up for a bit of lost time.
I hope you all had a lovely weekend and maybe had breakfast in bed too.
I feel it really is a luxury and I do enjoy it.
So here we are into the third month of Winter.
It started off a foggy morning and as I fed the girls I noticed all the wonderful, dew laden cobwebs in the Paulownia tree.
Definitely worth a pic.
Saturday morning a friend asked me if I had any blanket scraps I could give her.
She wanted to make some potholders as hers were wearing out quickly.
I thought it would be fun, to whip up one with a pic of her and her partner on it.
Leanne and Tim don't actually have such knobbly knees and elbows, but I thought it was a bit of a giggle.............
I put a scarf on Tim as whenever I see him in town he always seems either over or under dressed for the weather conditions.
Remember when I told you ages ago that I can't draw, well...........do you believe me now?
The day has turned out to be a real rip snorter.........
If you're not sure about what that means, I'm sure you'll get the gist of it from the photo.....
I recently planted this Sarsparilla at the base of a rather large tree stump out by the gate. My mum suggested I do this years ago. I just took a little while to get around to it...........
It has grown very quickly and has put out some lovely purple flower spikes. By the end of next season you probably won't even see the tree stump.........
Ah, busy bees, don't you just love he hum of bees around pollen filled flowers.
Spring is in the air.
I bought two David Austin roses from the nursery yesterday.
William Morris and Gertrude Jekyll. I will have to wander around the garden and try and find a spot for them. I think I may have things a little back to front in that department, but I couldn't resist them. I love roses and seeing lots of blogs with gardening posts has me thinking about Summer and beautiful flowers.

There's weeding to be done or should I finish some more mushroom houses?
